1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using RentCar Albania services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Rental Requirements
To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old. Drivers under 25 may be subject to additional fees. You must hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year. International driving permits are required for non-EU residents.
3. Bookings and Cancellations
Bookings can be made online or by contacting us directly. A deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup are fully refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
4. Payments and Deposits
Payment is required at the time of booking or pickup. We accept major credit and debit cards. A security deposit is held on your card and released within 5-10 business days after successful vehicle return.
5. Vehicle Use
The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes. Prohibited: • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs • Subletting the vehicle to others without authorization • Use for racing or motorsports • Transporting illegal goods • Traveling outside Albania without written permission
6. Insurance and Liability
Basic insurance is included in all rentals. However, an excess applies for damages. You can purchase additional coverage to reduce or eliminate your excess. You are liable for any damage caused by breach of these terms.
7. Accidents and Emergencies
In case of an accident: 1. Ensure everyone's safety 2. Call the police (if required) 3. Document the scene with photos 4. Contact us immediately 5. Do not admit liability Our emergency contact is available 24/7.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tirana, Albania.
